I have started a page looking at the different sections of the written exam. Here is some info on Higher Level Question 1 - expression écrite. I will be developping it with tips for planning etc... in the next few weeks. Click here to get to the page. Any questions you need addressed, please send me a message or leave a comment.
Now that the orals are over, what is next for you? Many students feel that they will never have to speak a word of French ever again so they will not remain silent in class til June. Well, this will not be the case. Remember that you still have the listening examination to come and speaking French can still help you with that section. All the preparation you have done for your oral can help you match sounds to written format. So listen to your French teacher in class and make a real effort to figure out what is said in class and in audio exercise without waiting for an English translation. Your participation is key too. It will make you practise sounds, recognise vocabulary and train your ear. Only a couple of weeks left so don't give up now!
We are a team of teachers and examiners who felt it would be nice for all the information about exams to be available to students. We must thank our partner site: www.learnforeignlanguageskills.com for their support.
